Achieve peak strength and performance - starting with your neck

Your body has been trying to train your neck since you first tried to hold up your head. Give it a hand with these 3 body weight exercises that get you started on the path to better health, better bloodflow to the brain and better performance.

Erik started lifting weights at 11 years old to protect himself from a rough upbringing.  As a child he was raised by parents who suffered from addiction and anger issues.  While a teenager lifting weights, listening to heavy metal, and being active pulled him through a deep depression that had him, at times, contemplating ending it all.  While working various jobs in the construction trades after high school he began also coaching youth sports and found that coaching and teaching gave him a feeling of satisfaction and purpose.  With the support of his girlfriend, who is now his wife and the mother of their three beautiful daughters, he started college in his mid twenties in hopes of becoming a teacher.

Without the love and support of my family, none of what I do would be possible… balancing my love of those I’m fortunate enough to work with and my family was hard in the beginning, then I learned the importance of balance in life. Thank you to my wife, Monica, and my three beautiful girls, Aubrianna, Aurora, and Abigail.

After years of being an athlete himself, coaching, and working 1-1 as a strength coach, Erik began to take note of how underserved the mental side of athletics was. He had often heard the phrase “sports are 80% mental, 20% physical” and yet coaches often spend the vast majority of their time in practices perfecting the physical aspects of the sport and very limited time on the mental component. He wanted to be a part of positive change in this area and took a deep dive into the mindset coaching arena. Dozens of books, courses, and a couple of certifications later he includes mindset coaching along with physical coaching in every session with his clients.

In addition to strength and mindset training, Erik has expertise in nutrition, neuromuscular activation, and head and neck training. He draws from each of these areas of knowledge to help his clients on their pursuit of a stronger body and mind. #CommitToNOBULLinYourLIFE

No Bull has helped me to loose weight, get stronger, and have more self confidence! When I miss a workout due to a scheduling conflict I feel like I am missing something. I am not one of those people that love to work out, but Erik and No Bull make me want to keep coming back! Thank you Erik.

Without Erik's help I wouldn't have been able to compete in all 4 games in our National tournament and contribute to my team's success at reaching the Elite 8 in Women's Club Soccer.

As a mechanic I used to get a lot of neck pain.  I have been training with Erik for almost a year now and don't have neck pain anymore.
